One of the easiest and fastest ways to increase your visibility exponentially and powerfully position yourself as an expert is to be interviewed.
This is what’s also known as “one-to-many” marketing and is highly leveraged…versus the time- and energy-intensive “one-to-one” marketing.
How To Attract More Interview Requests
I receive requests to be interviewed often and these are the two ways I consistently get found:
1. Social Media
Sharing your expertise and events on Social Media will attract interview opportunities to you…BUT only if you’re sharing appropriately!
I get messages all the time requesting interviews with me…from connections, but also from referrals outside my network who recommend me.
2. Cultivate Relationships
Reach out via messaging and email to stay top of mind with your network so they think of you first for every relevant interview opportunity!
For example, I recently reached out to a LinkedIn contact from 6 years ago to let her know I was speaking in her area and she asked to interview me.
