If you aren’t getting the leads you want, consider ramping up your blogging.
I was talking with my coaching client, a leadership/career coach and consultant, yesterday, who started blogging recently.
It’s so exciting to see the results she’s getting using my system!
With just a few posts, she’s already seeing increased traffic to her site and her email list has grown.
So, now that she has her blog in place, we’re fine-tuning her lead generation strategy to grow her email list still more and attract her Ideal Clients to her.
If this sounds familiar, and you want to generate more coaching and consulting or other professional leads from your blog, here is where I recommend you focus your attention and get active:
1. LinkedIn Groups. Share your blog with a click of a button in all 50 of your LinkedIn Groups where your Ideal Clients and Partners are. This will drive traffic to your website where they can become your leads.
BONUS TIP: Remember, you’re posting in Groups to share value and generate leads. To maintain your focus, deliberately engage productively with Group member comments.
2. Social Media. Share your blog on all your Social Media channels with a click of a button to drive traffic to your website and generate leads.
BONUS TIP: Use tools that automatically share your previous blog posts to provide more value to your audience and drive more traffic and leads to your website.
3. LinkedIn Publishing. Share your blog on LinkedIn Publishing and be seen and searchable by all 330+ million members of LinkedIn. Plus, your blog article will be visible on Google search as well.
Not to mention that your articles will be prominently featured near the top of your LinkedIn Profile. This means anyone who views your profile will be able to get an appetizer of the value you provide and then be invited to visit your website and take the next step with you.

Great tips, as usual! I have an active blog that continues to grow the email list. I also post in certain groups. So far, so good. But I have not thought of also using LinkedIn Publishing.
Any do’s and don’ts for adding that platform? For example, if I post a link using an update, will that create unprofessional duplicates?
