What’s an effective LinkedIn Publishing strategy?
I was asked this in a LinkedIn Group recently:
Christine, love your LinkedIn Pulse article! I have a question about Pulse and others might have an interest in hearing the answer. I’ve heard that Pulse is a long term strategy — do you know the truth? Would love to hear the low down on Pulse..thank you!
(For those of you who are wondering, what you post with LinkedIn Publishing becomes part of LinkedIn Pulse. So Pulse and Publishing are essentially the same.)
Here’s the answer…
The truth is, LinkedIn Pulse is both a short-term and long-term LinkedIn Publishing strategy.
And I say this from my own experience.
Why in LinkedIn Pulse both a short- and long-term strategy?
Because if you write about compelling topics and structure your articles effectively, you can generate leads and revenue today as well as for years to come.
As an example, an article I published in 2014 has over 92,000! views. And it’s still getting viewed as I write this…and every viewer is invited in multiple ways to take the next step with me to deepen our relationship.
What this LinkedIn Publishing strategy means for you is that you can post an article to LinkedIn Publishing today and get leads and business from it now and going forward for years to come, like with your blog.
