I use many of the social networking platforms. I have developed some great relationships on LinkedIn. I am a member of several groups and I have found them to be a great way to find people interested in the same niche. I have been thinking about starting a group. What are some of the things I should think about before starting a group? I have not narrowed the focus of the group yet.
Christine Hueber says
Great question, Julia.
The most important things to think about when starting a group are knowing why and the results you’re seeking.
Does that help?
Best,
Christine

Christine,
I have published (3) short story collections and (2) novels all set in the Ozark Mountains. I selected eBook publishers because of their eBook display formats, author support and royalty payments, which are 70% to 80%.
How can i use Linkedin to obtain reviews and possibly get a story about the eBook market. I have been involved with eBooks for a number years and could provide guidelines that might help other authors. Even though many people do not want to see print publishing loose share of market, like it or not eBooks are growing rapidly, last month over 50% of Amazons sales were eBooks.
Thank you,
Rolland

Thanks for your comment, Rolland.
I suggest posting your question in Answers and also in relevant groups, focusing more on requesting insights and expertise.
If you want to promote your books, do so in relevant groups under the Promote tab.
You might consider LinkedIn Direct Ads as well.
I hope that helps.
Best,
Christine
