With over 330+ million professionals around the world on LinkedIn and counting, chances are many of your customers and clients are there as well. If social media is part of your marketing strategy, then you should consider using LinkedIn to engage your audience and get more leads.
Here I’ll talk about 3 ways you can generate LinkedIn leads, in less than 15 minutes a day.
Step 1: Open a LinkedIn account.
If you haven’t already…and add your compelling gift offer to your headline and summary to generate LinkedIn leads and drive traffic to your website.
BONUS TIP: Update your public profile url so it’s something easy to remember, like your name.
Step 2: Add content!
I can’t stress enough the importance of adding content to your profile to generate LinkedIn leads, rather than bombarding your contacts with sales pitches and offers or asking them to do something. Using LinkedIn effectively will promote you and your business with each update you post. For example, are you selling financial services to business owners? Add content, preferably with images, that appeals to your audience and addresses that topic.
A very important note…when you have a particularly compelling posting of your own, like a blog post or an offer, ask your contacts to “share” your update. That way your update will go on their activity feed as well…and you’ll start to create a kind of referral network that way.
BONUS TIP: Share your blog posts to your groups to increase your visibility and generate more LinkedIn leads.
Adding relevant, useful content that your audience can’t live without is where the majority of your time will be spent…but this will take just 5-10 minutes a day.
Step 3: Share your offer…
If you’ve followed these steps so far, post your gift offer daily to your contacts. When you connect with other LinkedIn users is also a good time to ask if they have your gift yet and include a link to your landing page.
To generate the most LinkedIn leads, you should always be inviting users to connect with you and then offer your gift.
