“I not only use all the brains that I have but all that I can borrow.” — Woodrow Wilson, 28th President of the United States and Nobel Peace Prize winner.
It’s Presidents Day in the US today and a day for patriotic celebration and remembrance.
Woodrow Wilson’s quote is a great reminder that we don’t need to know it all…that even US Presidents look outside themselves for expertise.
I can find mentors and study with them to borrow their brains and learn from them.
And when you look around you, everyone who commits to getting the best possible results as quickly as possible has mentors and coaches…from politicians, to athletes, to actors, to professionals, to business leaders, etc.
When I started on LinkedIn in 2006, I didn’t know anything. So I looked at who was getting the results I wanted, studied with them, invested thousands of hours and dollars and am now ranked the #1 LinkedIn All Time Top Female Expert and have a Top 1% Most Viewed LinkedIn Profile.
And now I teach business owners and entrepreneurs around the world they can how to get the results they want from LinkedIn too.
Without exception, when my clients mentor with me this is what I teach them:
1. Success on LinkedIn is all about having the right system and using the right tools.
2. But most importantly, if you want results from LinkedIn, you need to engage your Ideal Client.
3. How to easily be consistent so you stay top of mind!
