The pressure of blogging consistently can be daunting…
Blog posts can take forever to write…
You can be at a complete loss on what to write about when you’re blogging…much less how to position yourself as an expert and thought leader with what you write!
And if you do know what you want to write about when you’re blogging, how do you know it will engage the right people…your ideal clients?
It’s enough to put you off blogging completely or only do it haphazardly!
But having a system can make all the difference…
A system that reverse engineers your blog post based on what your best clients are saying.
Here’s the proven, step-by-step, simple blogging system I use and that I teach my marketing coaching clients:
1. Listen to your best clients.
When you talk with them, notice:
a. What questions do they have?
b. What words are they using?
c. How do they communicate the results and outcomes they get from working with you?
2. Create your blog posts around them.
What are their problems and what are the solutions you provide?
Do you have a system or steps you walk them through?
What are the results or outcomes they get from working with you in this area?
These become the points you cover in your blog post to ensure it’s compelling and effectively engages people like your best clients…your ideal clients.
3. Invite your blog post readers to take the next step with you.
To be effective, your blog post must promote you!
You can do this by offering a product, a complimentary session…whatever you want your readers to do next.
Lead them!
BONUS TIP: To save time and brain cells ;), copy and paste the content from Steps 3 – 5 from a previous blog post and update it for your current blog post.
4. Ask a question.
Engage your viewers at the end of your blog post by asking a question related to the subject you’ve just shared your expertise on.
5. Include your marketing information.
Allow your readers to share your blog post on their blogs, websites, etc., when they mention you.
BONUS TIP: Share your blog posts with your audience on your Social Media accounts, your LinkedIn Groups, LinkedIn Publishing, your newsletter, etc. to get the most visibility and reach from your blog post writing efforts!
This is yet another way to automatically, and in a highly leveraged way, share your message and expertise with millions.
